Bilingual Administrative Assistant
We are looking for an energetic person who likes to work with people, is bilingual and has administrative skills. Someone who is organized, can multitask and coordinate multiple outside venders if necessary.
This position will act as a cultural liaison for new employees who are not from the area and to assist with the general care of our facilities.
Job Functions:
As set forth by the company guidelines provided the position will perform the following:
Cultural Liaison
- Candidate must be bilingual and assist with translation where needed.
- Sources corporate housing as needed.
- Purchase furniture, appliances etc. and coordinate and accept delivery.
- Set up as needed
- Booking of accommodations for incoming employees (i.e. Apartments, Hotels etc.).
- Assist with relocation resources for new hires who need information by sending links, contacts etc.
- Coordinate transportation as appropriate for in coming employee. (I.e. corporate vehicle, shuttle, etc.).
- Airport Transportation Coordination
- Fleet Vehicle coordination. (Maintain the list of issued vehicles, etc.)
- Act as the liaison between corporate housing and employees for issues such as power, broken air conditioning etc.
- Assist with new hire orientations and plant tours by translating
- Answer general employee questions that require translation
- Help new employees acclimate the to the area and the company
Facilities Coordination
- Coordinate the interior and exterior care of the corporate building and surrounding property by working with venders and service technicians. Some examples are: lawn care, power washing, window cleaning, patio and walkway repairs, and cleaning services.
- Submitting work orders to have light bulbs changed, broken tiles replaced, etc.
- Coordinating Pest Control provider
Requirements:
- Candidates must be Bilingual. Fluent in both Spanish and English in all formats (Reading, writing and verbal communications)
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- General administrative experience using office machinery
- Ability to create business communications (letters/emails) correctly and in a professional format
- This position will communicate via phone, text, and email throughout the day
- Strong organization skills a must
- Must like to work with people
