Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in technical accounting practices. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, processing payments, and collections
- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with financial reporting and audits
-Communicating with the sales and accounting team to maintain accurate and updated information on client accounts and payments
-Assists AR Team members and also assists in collecting outstanding balances
- Contacting customers to inform them on their delinquency, encourage on-time payments and set up payment plans that will facilitate good standing credit
-Monitor aging reports, identifying accounts with overdue payments, keeping records of the amount owed and to keep record of resolution for each account
Experience:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles
- Proficiency in technical accounting procedures
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Experience using Excel
- Ability to perform 10 key typing accurately
- Excellent customer service skills for effective communication with clients
- Capacity to analyze accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
