Position Summary
The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics (JPIE) promotes interactive ethics education and programming. The Manager of Campus Ethics Programs will expand and maintain the ethics education programming that engages the DePauw University undergraduate community. The kinds of programming the Manager will be responsible for may include but is not limited to: the First-Year Internship Program; Programming for Prindle, Sanger, and Jordan scholarship holders; the Hillman Internship Program; Intramural Ethics Bowl; Coordinating Ethics Certificates such as Ethics & Technology, Ethics & Education, Ethics & Business, or Ethics & Global Health; Prindle-led Winter Term Classes; Alternative Spring Break; collaborations with campus media such as The DePauw and WGRE; and ethics workshops in DePauw classes. The Manager will report to JPIE's Director.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Work with the Director to determine the suite of ethics education programming that should be developed and/or maintained for the DePauw undergraduate community.
- Develop new programming for the DePauw undergraduate community.
- Coordinate and manage the Prindle Institute programs that serve DePauw undergraduates.
- Work to build connections with campus partners, including academic departments, faculty and staff, and other Centers to help ensure that Prindle Institute programs are sustainable.
- Collaborate with other Prindle Institute staff to further the integration of DePauw undergraduate participation in other Institute initiatives.
- Manage the Hillman intern Program
- Manage the first-year intern program.
- Manage the programming for Prindle, Jordan, Sanger scholarship awardees.
- Facilitate workshops as needed, especially those in which DePauw students are involved.
- Work any All-Hands Prindle events (ex: Prindlepalooza, High School Ethics Bowl).
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Conduct research related to topics with ethical import that are in line with the goals of the Institute.
- Host guests to the Prindle Institute and serve as ambassador.
- Promote/market Prindle sponsored events.

Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required. Master's degree or above with some teaching experience preferred.
Experience: Preferred prior experience with the Prindle Institute, or academic experience with philosophy/ethics, but not required.
Communication/Language: Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office Applications and Google applications preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as requested during Institute events.
