Job Responsibilities:
Utilizing initiative, judgment, and management skills to assess and address the clinical needs of assigned facilities.
Supervising and supporting Facility Consultants as they conduct facility reviews to ensure regulatory compliance across all clinical services departments and systems, including activities, dietary, medical records, social services, and electronic health systems.
Performing compliance analysis reviews and follow-up reviews as instructed by the Vice President of Clinical Services.
Developing and delivering training and education to Facility Consultants, Administrative Nursing, and facility staff.
Overseeing standards of care to guarantee quality excellence, and assisting facilities with preparations for annual Federal recertification and/or State licensure surveys.
Being available to Facility Consultants to support assigned nursing facilities during regulatory and other agency surveys, such as those conducted by Federal, State, and Veterans Administration bodies.
Providing reviews and assistance with plans of correction for cited survey deficiencies as needed or upon request from the Regional Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Clinical Services, or Facility Consultants.
