Position Summary
As our Master Mixologist, your creative flair, energy, and passion for beverage will create superior beverage experiences for our members. Through your effective leadership and innovation, you will create drinks and menus that represent our club culture. You will be the heartbeat of our bar. You will:
- Work in partnership with the Food & Beverage Manager and supervisors to execute the smooth and flawless operation of the Bar and Restaurant.
- Adhere to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Complete all bartender duties when necessary.
- Develop a complete working knowledge of the menu items and their ingredients and preparation.
- Develop a complete working knowledge of all products served in the bar.
- Ensure that all details of service are performed by the bartenders to expected standards and that every guest receives the highest quality of service in line with standards.
- Develop and design a signature cocktail menu that reflects The Club at Rancharrah's personality and culture.
- Source and select premium ingredients, including local and artisanal spirits.
- Engage with guests, sharing your extensive knowledge of mixology and ensuring an exceptional bar experience.
- Train and mentor junior bartenders, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning and ensuring beverage knowledge and service levels meet standards.
- Collaborate with our Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and Culinary Team to create unique food and beverage pairings.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, continually refining and innovating our beverage offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale bar or restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, wines, and cocktail history.
- Proven track record of creating award-winning cocktails and beverage programs.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Certification from a recognized mixology or bartending school is a plus.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to handle bar tools and glassware with precision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and composure.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 31 – 39 per week
