Position Summary:
To provide installation of different HVAC systems.
· Direct expansion AC equipment up to 5 tons
· Most gas-fired and electric heating systems are typically found in systems.
· Low-voltage control systems are generally associated with HVAC equipment.
· Air-Handling equipment and duct systems associated with commercial HVAC equipment.
· Including, but not limited to: Heat pumps, gas/oil furnaces, boilers, PTAC, package equipment, exhaust fans, and MAU.
· Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes.
· High School diploma, GED or equivalent
· Valid driver’s license
· EPA Certificate - NATE certified in any HVAC classification.
· Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
· Knowledge with advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating, demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and related equipment.
· Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
· Basic computer skills for iPad and cell phone communication and documentation
· Ability to work overtime.
· Collecting payments from customers for work performed
· Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions.
· Complete invoices, daily sheets, and weekly reports as required.
· Able to lift to 60lbs +

· Demonstrate a willingness to accept responsibility and leadership roles.
· Travel to job sites in service area. Work with dispatcher/ Install manager to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
· Install HVAC equipment, duct, and fittings and to complete on or below the budgeted labor hours, as outlined by Installation Manager.
· Maintain required levels of truck stock items.
· Advise installation manager at such time as the assigned project begins to fall behind the labor budget.
· Work with installation manager and general manager on ideas for reducing the cost of installation.
· Review project daily with Installation manager, request tools, materials, or equipment needed for the next day by 2:00pm.
· Complete paperwork daily, recording all hours and materials used on each job, turn into installation manager.
· Complete quality project on or below budgeted labor hours, to company installation standards.
· Inform the Installation manager by 9:00 or 3:00 of any stocking items, or fabrication needed for the project.
· Assist Warehouse Person or Fabricator if directed with stocking, pulling jobs, deliveries, or fabrication.
· Keep entire work area neat and organized and free of scrap and debris.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Maintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronics.
· Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the company vehicle.
· Participating in company provided training opportunities.
· Identify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/system, PM contracts and additional services)
· Documents refrigerant usage for EPA records.
· Properly install equipment to code.
· Follow Excel and the manufacturer’s procedures.
· Assists with training of other technicians.
· Responsible for managing jobs, ordering needed parts, keeping tools and equipment in good working condition. Warranty Paperwork
· Keeps shop, parts, materials, and paperwork organized.
· The successful candidate must have considerable demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and related equipment.
· Demonstrated ability to use various test instruments to troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems and to repair such systems and equipment. Use hand tools and power tools.
· Accurately use and read HVAC test equipment. Including, but not limited to: Refrigerant gauges, multimeters, manometer, leak detectors, and combustion analyzer, use hand tools and power tools.
· This position requires effective organizational skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude. Maintain professional customer service/relations.

Work Conditions
● Indoors and outdoors, job sites may include hazards such as electricity, fire, chemicals or falling objects.
● This job requires movement about job sites and around the office.
● Position requires ability to climb ladder and crawl.
