What you'll do
We're looking for a talented Field Quality Manager who is passionate about quality and enjoys working with our corporate teams, manufacturing sites, 3PL providers and customers to achieve highest level of Quality products and customer and consumer experience. In this role, you'll establish, implement, and continually improve concepts from Quality and Food Safety Systems. You'll work closely with your teammates and direct report(s), contributing to the strengthening of trü frü Quality & Food Safety System as well trü frü products. (Candidates should reside in Illinois)
How you'll do it
- Partner cross-functionally to help develop a Best-In-Class manufacturing network in Quality and Food Safety by:
- Leading the establishment and implementation of trü frü Food Safety and Quality policies and requirements for co-manufacturers as well as continually monitoring their performance to ensure compliance for business unit, along with Best Practices and Benchmarking activities across trü frü co-manufacturers network
- Collaborating with co-manufacturers to drive Consumer and Client Complaint reductions
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing internal trü frü specific Quality and Food Safety Policies, Protocols and SOP's
- Enforcing compliance to Product and Process Specifications at co-manufacturers
- Supporting the commercialization of new product innovations
- Overseeing continuous improvement of product quality and plant quality systems through corrective and preventive action programs
- Conducting assessments and audits of co-manufacturers to measure compliance to trü frü Quality and Food Safety Programs
- Coordinating and leading incident management and investigations for assigned co-manufacturers. This responsibility includes incident-related data collection, interpretation and reporting of information to key stakeholders, execution of the business decision regarding product disposition on non-confirming product and incidents which impact food safety.

You have...
- Bachelor's degree required in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related subjects.
- 7+ years of proven experience in CPG preferably in roles in Plant Quality, Production, Continuous Improvement, Quality Systems and Auditing.
- Experience with working in a corporate environment as well as manufacturing and distribution location environments.
Pluses
- Substantive experience and/or knowledge in food safety, food science, and Microbiology within CPG industry
