Job Summary:
Generalist for Human Resources Department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for the Hospital employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the functions of the HR Department.
- Maintains HR database information and employee personnel files.
- Handles New Hire onboarding tasks.
- Provides training presentations, including new employee orientation.
- Sets up all pre- employment screenings, background checks, fingerprinting, etc.
- Supports all Human Resources staff members in details and administration
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As assigned by Human Resource Director
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES:
- Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
- Prior experience with an HRIS database preferred.
- Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
- Position handles questions, solves issues as they arise.
- Provides administrative and clerical support to Human Resource Director.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – High school diploma; AA degree or equivalent preferred.
- Work Experience – Five years demonstrated Human Resource department or administrative work experience.
- Training
- License/Certification – PHR preferred.
