Successful candidates will be capable of applying their experience and knowledge to create innovative and secure IT solutions to support both digital modernization and legacy initiatives associated with a variety of health care applications. As an ISSE, you will lead the system design and documentation efforts of innovative Cybersecurity solutions and service offerings to protect federal networks. You'll coordinate with a dynamic team of thought leaders and experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate the customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. Lead the team through a critical approach to system design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions, to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Candidates will be expected to work with senior-level systems and software architects, engineers, and developers to gather requirements, develop and build enterprise systems based on business needs with robust testing and documentation within an agile environment.
An understanding of DoD and government security standards and policies are needed to ensure all deployed changes are highly secure and available.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience supporting large-scale enterprise organizations as an Information Systems Security Engineer.

5+ years of experience with leading-edge Cybersecurity architecture and implementation.

5+ years of experience with leading technical project delivery for large, complex organizations

Experience with architecting Zero Trust solutions, road maps, and capabilities in alignment with industry standards, including NIST 800-207, and DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture

Experience with leading product selection initiatives, such as A&O, AI, analytics, secure DevOps, identify and access management, or network access control

Ability to work with and guide senior leaders, including CISO, CIO, and CTO, and executives to ideate, build, and execute cybersecurity capability maturation

Ability to author technical documentation and whitepapers and blogs on leading Cybersecurity topics and concepts
Typical Duties/Abilities:

Communicate conceptual architecture, designs, and capabilities to management.

Guide the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across business and IT support areas, driving the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level.

Assist with designing, developing, and recommending integrated security system solutions that ensure proprietary and confidential data and systems are protected and security standards are met.

Create and maintain security documentation in support of ATO packages and continuous monitoring.
