Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to support a busy endoscopy practice in Alexandria, VA.

The setting is incredible to support a work-life balance as there are no nights, weekend or holidays! We are seeking full-time nurses 4 days per week – 10 hours days (7am – 5pm)
Clinical Nurses at GIECNV provide a range of supports and services to ensure patients are full partners in their health care including, but not limited to
- Performs pre-procedure screening including reviewing patient histories and information pre-procedure to facilitate a quality, safe endoscopy experience.
- Collaborates with endoscopists and anesthesiologists to plan patients’ procedures to ensure the needs of the patients are fully met whenever possible.
- Assesses patients’ status postoperatively and support their recovery.
- Keeps the physicians informed of patient status to ensure optimal care and recovery.
- Provides education and information to patients on discharge instructions that may include lifestyle modifications, medications, dietary measures and next steps in treatment as directed by the endoscopist.
- Connects with patient’s post-procedure to assess status and potential issues.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
