Texas Textile Services has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll/Personnel Coordinator. In this position, the Payroll/Personnel Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the payroll is processed correctly and accurately as well as the hiring and onboarding of the employees.
Below are some of the Responsibilities:
- Process Weekly payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Maintain employee records and update changes in payroll system
- Calculate and process wage garnishments, deductions, and adjustments
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Process the onboarding for all new hires in payroll system
-Assist in the recruitment of new employees
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws and regulations
- Experience with data entry and general ledger reconciliation
