Mobile Phlebotomist Opportunity:
TalentWell is seeking multiple experienced Mobile Phlebotomists with a background in skilled nursing facilities and Home Health to support the Houston, TX area. This route is a part of the STAT team. Phlebotomists applying must be reliable, dependable, and able to adapt easily. The Mobile Phlebotomist must be comfortable with driving for long periods and be able to multi-task well due to the volume facilities/patients interacted with daily. MUST have a reliable vehicle, clean driving record, active auto insurance, and Drivers License.
- Full-time; Direct-hire
- Pay: $18.00/hour plus reimbursements for travel/mileage (.47/cents per mile)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 3AM-11AM
- Location: Role travels within the Houston, TX area. Drop off at corporate office in Webster, TX
Mobile Phlebotomist Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for drawing all patient samples within assigned routes and schedules
- Communicate any current or potential customer issues within an assigned territory with suggestions for resolution
- Maintain detailed records of time worked and mileage
- Maintain regular contact with assigned facilities and staff and address all service concerns
- Assist with all correction and missing information requests from Insurance and Billing teams
- Provide coverage for sample collection duties when needed
- Be a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable face of PHS laboratory services
- Other job-related duties as assigned by manager
Mobile Phlebotomist Qualifications Requirements:
- 2+ years of mobile phlebotomy experience, preferably within the Geriatric or SNF fields
- Trained in venipuncture and thorough understanding of tube/draw requirements for tests ordered
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable means of personal transportation
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Can-do work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to independently resolve problems
- Phlebotomist License/Certification is preferred
