Overview:
As an Intake Coordinator for ABA, you will be responsible for managing the initial intake process for clients seeking Applied Behavior Analysis services. This role involves effectively communicating with prospective clients, assessing their needs, coordinating intake assessments, and ensuring smooth onboarding into ABA programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including families, therapists, and insurance providers, to facilitate a seamless transition into ABA services.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and greet clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect and verify client information, including demographics and insurance details
- Schedule appointments for clients and coordinate with other departments as needed
- Enter client data into the electronic medical records system
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely intake processes
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
