Job Title Behavior Technician- Full Time or Part Time

Job Summary
The Behavior Technician will provide direct ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD) in their homes, schools and/or clinic settings under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Conduct 1:1 ABA therapeutic services to clients as prescribed by their individual treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Implement behavior plans as designed and directed by a supervising BCBA.

Teach skills such as communication, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavior Analysis principles.

Teach, learn and play with our clients to help them reach their highest potential.

Accurately record treatment data.

Engage in and ensure client safety.
-
Always maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conduct.

Communicate and work collaboratively with the Beyond team and families.

Complete clinical data daily for all clients.
-
Communicate all questions and concerns to the appropriate personnel within Beyond Autism Services.

Maintain a neat and orderly clinic environment
-
Return all toys, stimuli, program books to correct places
-
Clean and sanitize all areas used during client treatment.
-
Return all client items to parents at the end of the session.
-
Complete all mandatory trainings and paperwork in a timely manner.

Includes keeping clearances up to date.

Maintain electronic session notes in CentralReach.
-
Convert sessions in CentralReach daily.
-
Follow all scheduling and call-out protocols as outlined in the employee handbook.

Follow all company policies and procedures for HIPAA.
-
Travel to clients in their home, school or in the community.
-
Prepare and assist in the preparation of instructional and client materials.

Complete and obtain the Registered Behavior Technician certification
-
Must be available for a 40-hour work week.

Coverage of any session required.

Follow all protocols and policies for full time employees.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and satisfactory driving record.

Able to hold, transport and use quick movements as outlined in the behavior intervention plan when working with challenging clients (will be trained).

Strong Communication skills, highly organized, adaptable and a team player yet able to work independently with clients.
-
Currently have or able to obtain all necessary clearances.
-
Experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or families is required (developmental disabilities and ASD experience preferred).

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate an ability to maintain confidential records and reliably develop timely correspondence related to work according to agency standards.

Employee must average a minimum of 30 billable hours/week for a period of one month and have flexibility in being able to conduct sessions until 6 pm, 3 nights/week.
Additional Incentives
Full-time Employees who meet the above requirements will also be offered the following:

A minimum of 3 additional non-billable hours/week that can be used for clinic maintenance, session conversions, stimuli development and assisting the Beyond team.

Accrual of 2-weeks of Paid Time off, of which up to 40 hours can roll-over every year. (All PTO is required to be taken in ½ day or full day increments).

3 Paid sick days per year* (Prorated depending on when you become full-time)
