Job Summary:
We are seeking 2 dedicated Dog Trainers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with animals, particularly dogs, and possess a strong background in training techniques and animal care. The ideal candidates will also have a passion for working with disabled veterans, and the general public.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs of various breeds and ages
- Develop personalized training plans based on each dog's needs and abilities
- Educate dog owners on proper training techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions and progress
- Provide basic care and attention to dogs during training sessions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dog training or related animal care roles
- Knowledge of various dog breeds, behavior, and training methods
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Certification in dog training or related fields is a plus
