The Business Development Manager at Irontrax is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities. They close new customers and work closely with strategic accounts to retain relationships and build customer loyalty all while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Irontrax’s offerings, systems, and processes.
Occasional travel to our office in Chagrin Falls, OH will be required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential new clients to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging an established network
- Plan detailed customer approach campaigns and build client presentations to support your strategies
- Build relationships with decision makers (C-Suite, VP, and other executives) within specific, predetermined prospective clients
- Implement negotiating tactics and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; appraising partners' needs and goals
- Maintain a clear vision of product marketplace, focusing on new product potential and opportunities, establishing new sales and marketing areas for the company
- Ensure that company standardized, prospecting tools and processes are always used
- Maintain current knowledge of their sector and proactively seek to identify emerging trends
- Manage pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce, including ensuring that data is accurately entered
- Achieve pre-determined sale quota targets
- Other duties, as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills to include, Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Teams)
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM, required
- Superior project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines on multiple client engagements
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and manage multiple and shifting priorities
- Ability to form effective working relationships within the business at all levels and with customers
- Ability to operate independently as well as part of a team
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of industry related work experience
- Project management & sales effectiveness experience
- Proven track record of successful sales experience
