Job Summary:
To perform tasks necessary for maintaining continuous materials supply at each machine to enable efficient operations without disruption due to lack of materials.
Job Duties:

Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse

Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards

Maintains company’s quality standards and follows computer procedures to handle damaged material and quarantine material

Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
-
Opens containers to prepare to be moved
-
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
-
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
-
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
-
Loads truck
-
Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators
-
Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products
-
Brings and takes away all Gaylord boxes for recycling to machines
-
Brings and takes away skids for machine operators jobs

Bands and stores all endplates, skids, and recyclable material
-
Empties all trash throughout shop
Job Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
-
Must have tow motor experience and be able to successfully complete tow motor certification training

Ability to multi task and read production tickets

Ability to perform math calculations including fractions

Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer
-
Must be computer literate
-
Ability to maintain production standards

Must be dedicated to continuous improvement

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time
