Kennel Technician

Responsibilities:
- Lead Kennel Technician must truly love pets and be able to be manage them in a gentle, patient, and positive way in a variety of situations
- Bending, squatting, scooping, lifting, and cleaning as you bathe, feed, water, provide medication, supervise group and single playtime, and closely monitor pets to ensure their health and safety
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming landscape so it is safe for our pets and staff
Requirements:
- Must love animals of all sizes and possess the ability to be gentle, patient, and positive in stressful situations
- High school diploma or GED
- Professional animal care experience preferred but not required
- Appearance: clean attire, friendly, mature and professional behavior
- Basic computer skills and above average customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and mentally alert at all times
- Ability to operate landscape machinery such as riding lawn mower, trimmer, and leaf blower
- Possess physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must possess strong communication skills, good judgment, and work with others on a team respectfully
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
