As our Vice President of IT Operations and Security, you will be a senior leader responsible for overseeing the company's IT operations, including the help desk service, infrastructure management, and device and corporate security. This role ensures the seamless and secure operation of IT services, supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.
What You'll Do

IT Operations Management:
- Lead and manage the IT operations team, including help desk services, network administration, and infrastructure support.

Place a priority on meeting help desk metrics.

Run a center of excellence in IT services with specific SLAs and a high sense of urgency.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of IT services, focusing on minimizing downtime and maximizing user satisfaction.

Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices.

Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Security Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures.

Coordinate with our CISO and negotiate the implementation of services and SOPs to meet our standards.

Ensure the security of all IT systems, infrastructure, and devices.

Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability tests, and audits in coordination with our CISO.

Respond to security incidents and breaches, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks and restore services.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals.

Assess and recommend new technologies and innovations to improve IT operations and security.

Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service levels.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT operations and security team.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and collaboration.

Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants.

Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and negotiate contracts as necessary.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, providing updates on IT operations and security initiatives.
Education/Experience and Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree or MBA is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations and security management.

Proven track record of leading and managing large IT teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Strong experience with IT service management (ITSM), security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and compliance standards.
Expertise Needed

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, and security technologies.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
