RIDE NORTH is looking for an ENERGETIC, SELF MOTIVATED, and HIGHLY ORGANIZED Parts Department Manager who also posses:

The responsibilities and qualifications of this positions include but are not limited to:
· Manage and direct parts team. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation process of the parts department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
· Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the needs of the service department and the general public.
· Monitor and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
· Implement and maintain daily cycle counting process to maintain inventory accuracy.
· Ensure that all returned or warranty parts are properly tagged so that the dealership recovers full credit from the factory.
· Oversee purchasing of supplies and materials for service department.
· Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing.
· Assist in developing process to address issues and department sales promotions.
· Seek out new vendors, suppliers and manufactures and negotiate terms and pricing for greater profitability.
· Perform reviews on all staff members at least annually.
· Constructively handle (or supervise the handling of) all customer complaints related to your department.
· Assist staff in solving problems and improving their performance.
· Perform other duties as may be required.
· Plan, organize, direct and control your parts staff to meet these goals. Use these goals to help your department maximize their potential.
· Monthly counsel with each parts rep to establish realistic goals for the month and action plan.
· Achieve forecasted goals by following (and, if necessary, adjusting) your written plan of action.
· Monitor each subordinate’s daily performance and compare it with their monthly goals. Those who are on or above their goals, should be recognized for their achievement. Those who are not on a pace to meet their goals should be given the help they need to get them back on target.
· Meet dealership standards. See to it that all the standards set for the Parts Department are met. This includes attendance tracking, professional appearance and behavior.
· Adhere to departmental budget.
· Perform miscellaneous responsibilities. Many miscellaneous duties correspond to the efficient administration of the service department. It shall also be the responsibility of the service manager to see that they are carried out or managed in a professional manner.

Salary starting at $40,000/yr, commensurate with experience
Manager expected workload 42+ hrs/wk. Must be able to work around our retail hours of 9am-6pm Tuesday thru Friday and 9a-4pm Saturdays, year-round with earlier arrival on most workdays.
Though largely based out of Negaunee, the individual hired for his role is also expected to be willing to operate out of our Ishpeming location (3 miles west of base location)
