Job Summary:
The Billing Specialist will provide support for client invoicing and other accounting tasks related to expediting the accounts receivable process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Calculate costs for services

Verify accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors

Create itemized statements, invoices, and other necessary billing documents per requirements of the client

Record amounts due for items purchased or services rendered
-
Submit billing documents to client per client requirements
-
Manage and track any unbilled revenue and work with operations to escalate as needed to ensure resolution
-
Contact clients to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary
-
Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Ability to solve problems as they arise

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Required Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
General office and basic accounting experience
-
Minimum of 2 years billing experience
Preferred Education and Experience:

Business or Accounting degree preferred
-
Billing experience using multiple job codes, and data assembly from multiple sources
