Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of property maintenance to ensure the optimal functionality and appearance of our real estate portfolio. This role requires effective communication with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to address maintenance issues promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance coordination, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for residential and commercial properties within the real estate portfolio.
- Act as the main point of contact for tenants reporting maintenance issues and liaise with the appropriate vendors or in-house maintenance teams to address concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with property managers to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on urgency and property needs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work orders, and completed tasks using property management software.
- Source and negotiate contracts with external vendors for maintenance services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of work.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, providing regular updates to the finance department.
- Communicate proactively with tenants, providing updates on maintenance schedules, disruptions, and resolutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in property management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Coordinator or in a similar role within home services.
- Familiarity with property management software and tools is a PLUS.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $19.19 - $23.11 per hour
