Headquartered in Livonia, MI, we have more than 20 office and manufacturing operations across 11 states. Our Marketing and Creative Services teams support many of our brands, including KraftMaid, Merillat, Medallion, and Schuler.
The Order Administrator will specialize in the order management process for assigned accounts; working with Builder Channel Partners, Design, Installation including Subcontractors as well as Service Technicians, and Sales. This requires collecting necessary information, order placement, order tracking and scheduling, and installation appointment scheduling. In addition, analyzing each account to ensure best processes are in place to meet on-time delivery and customer expectations.
Responsibilities for the Order Administrator (including but not limited to):
- Maintain process standards including accuracy and flexibility in an ever-changing environment to provide the highest service level.
- Utilize customer management software to create orders and manage all scheduling tasks.
- Resolves customer problems, recommend modifications to products/services, and coordinate installation between customers and organization.
- Actively seeks solutions to customer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
Desired Qualifications for the Order Administrator:
- High school education or equivalent required; College degree preferred
- 4+ years’ work related experience in Customer Service industry and/or Account Management with a passion for customer advocacy
- Strong organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly, concisely communicate both written and verbal, as well as listen to and interpret customer needs
- Ability to make sound decisions with a strong sense of urgency
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player
- Strong reporting, research, and problem-solving skills
- Process-improvement knowledge and skill with customer focus in mind
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Detail-oriented
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Sitting for Extended Periods: The nature of the job involves sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods while performing administrative tasks, using a computer, and engaging in various in-office activities.
· Computer Use: Proficient use of a computer, including typing, mouse manipulation, and viewing a computer screen for extended periods is essential.
· Manual Dexterity: Ability to use office equipment such as phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and printers. This may require fine motor skills and dexterity.
· Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, documents, and other materials, typically not exceeding a certain weight limit (e.g., 20 pounds).
· Mobility: Ability to move within the office environment to access filing cabinets, printers, and other office equipment.
· Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders directly in person or via electronic communication.
· Visual Acuity: Ability to read printed and electronic documents, as well as distinguish colors, for tasks such as proofreading and reviewing documents.
· Multitasking: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively, which may require mental agility and adaptability.
· Effectively works in a team environment with flexibility to cross-train and perform tasks outside of daily routine.
