Job Description:
Per Diem Clinical Nurse – Acute Hemodialysis
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Join our Acute Hemodialysis Nursing Team at MSK Intensive Care Unit. We're looking for a dynamic nursing professional eager to showcase compassionate, evidence-based nursing care skills and make a meaningful impact in our critical care setting.
Role Overview:
- Deliver high quality dialysis care for patients or an assigned group of patients experiencing acute or chronic kidney failure according to established standards of care and the nursing process

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care within MSK's Acute Inpatient Hemodialysis and Intensive Care Unit

Provide evidence-based nursing care to our patients

Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education

Supervise and advise the activities of nursing support staff and coordinates dialysis care while applying critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
Key Qualifications:
-
New York State RN license and Bachelor of Nursing (BSN)

A minimum of 2 years of Critical Care RN experinece required; Acute Hemodialysis experience highly preferred

National certification highly preferred

Schedule: Per Diem 10 Hour shifts flexed between 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday, Weekend on-call shifts once fully trained
