As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling and constructing metal products by cutting, grinding, polishing, and welding materials according to specifications. You should be highly skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, as well as experienced in handling a variety of metal fabrication tools, equipment, and machinery.

Primary Responsibilities
- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification
- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements
- Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds and cleans metal.
- TIG weld steel, aluminum and stainless-steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings
- Ensuring that all components are properly built, aligned, and fastened.
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications.
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Follow all safety rules and quality standards
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Other job-related tasks as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and training preferred
- Experience with drill press, shearing, lathe, bandsaw and brake press highly preferred
- Experience with steel, aluminum and/or stainless steel is preferred
- Experience with TIG welding highly preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 60 pounds consistently
- Ability to identify and measure material
- Willingness to learn and have a dependable work ethic
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures and angle gauges
- Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
