JOB SUMMARY
Currently seeking an Order Entry Assistant to join our team! This position processes orders for new home and retail construction with an attention to detail and customer-centric focus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Process lot specific homes from our in-house Estimating team in preparation to process order entry

Add lines in RFMS with product, install and invoice lines

Create job folders per install of product with workorders and diagrams

Schedule jobs in Schedule Pro

Promote cost savings and profitability in all areas

Attend in-office meetings and seminars
-
Cross-train with other departments as the opportunity arises

Exhibit excellent “teamwork” with internal and external customers

Maintain a positive attitude regarding the mission of Metro Carpets

Any other duties necessary to make Metro Carpets successful
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

High School Diploma or equivalent

Computer knowledge, ability to learn RFMS computer programs, basic math, Microsoft word & excel.

Excellent attitude, organizational, time management, professional effective communication, problem solving, adaptable to change, self-motivated, follow directions, requirements and ideas for improvements and teamwork.
