Responsibilities:
- Actively greet and welcome patrons to Fergusons Downtown
- Direct guest to a location they my be looking for and/or give them a lay of the land
- Keep a calendar of events that will be taking place with Fergusons each day
- Oversee ticket sales for any front entrance ticket sales
- Walk the premises and keep it free of refuse, graffiti, and hazardous materials and discard items that could present a safety hazard to visitors of the property
- Ensure City Security Plan is enforced
- Perform opening and/or closing procedures
- Schedule and oversee breaks for greeter staff
- Be proactive about crime prevention and immediately report any suspicious activity or dangerous situation to the proper authority, while remaining a vigilant witness to the incident
- Complete concise witness statements to assist law enforcement with criminal investigations
- Complete an internal report of any incident and file it in the database maintained by the company
- Accept packages or letters being delivered to Fergusons Downtown
- Monitor and uphold house rules of Fergusons Downtown
- Keep count of patrons entering and exiting Fergusons Downtown
- Offer to take a photo of patrons in front of Big Rig Jig
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a TAM card
- Be able to Obtain a Sheriff's card
- Must be very familiar with the Downtown Las Vegas area, businesses and services
- Problem solving skills to handle varied problems issues and requests to satisfactorily resolve issues
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Must have the ability to communicate fluently in English
- Must meet normal standards for good hygiene and grooming
- Must be polite, helpful and good at communicating with people
- Able to handle sensitive situations and challenge people when necessary
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Education/Experience:
- High school Diploma or equivalent is required
- One year experience in a customer service related position
