Medical Records Coordinator / Medical Receptionist / Medical Assistant
Busy General Surgery Practice has an opening for a full time receptionist . We are seeking an outgoing, experienced, able to multitask, and be a team player. Job requires scheduling patients for surgery, charting, medical records, and assisting the providers .You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Basic office tasks
- Medical Records: Send, receive, request medical records
- Maintain incoming medical records and referrals
- Check in / Check out, as needed
- Schedule appointments, as needed
- Answer phones, as needed
Skills
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Must have experience with insurance, online verification tools
- medical records experience
This position has a large opportunity for growth and possibility to move into a leadership position. It would be helpful if you have experience with both front desk and clinical. This will increase opportunity for grown and usability within the practice.
