Position Summary:

As a Senior Assembler / Trainer perform light-assembly and packaging of mechanical assemblies and kits.
Position Responsibilities:
-
The ability to perform the position responsibilities of Assembler I, II
-
Support ISO Standards and QMS Documentation
-
Perform regular process and quality audits of tools and equipment.
-
Work with MFG Engineers to develop knowledge and processes.
-
Initiate Red Light Process when issues arise.
-
Assemble electro-mechanical devices using hand powered tools.
-
Package and label products for shipment.
-
Keep work area clean and dispose of raw material packaging materials.
-
Work with MFG Engineer and/or Supervisor to resolve assembly issues.
-
Assist in providing direct training to area assemblers as required.
-
Develop training materials and processes.
-
Provide feedback on defects encountered, and provides re-training support as necessary.

Keep daily production assembly records.
-
Additional duties as requested.

Supports “Lean Business Enterprise” initiatives for continuous process improvement and waste elimination.

Support QMS and Safety policies.
Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
-
High school diploma or equivalent.
-
4 years of assembly experience.
-
Experience of medical device or related assembly.
-
Good mechanical aptitude.
-
Good understanding of basic English.
-
Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions.
-
Ability to lift 40 lbs.
-
Ability to work in a team environment.
-
Must be able to demonstrate comprehensive product assembly techniques and related process knowledge.
-
The skills to be a process trainer to equivalent assemblers.

Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools to produce mechanical assemblies.

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job as described to you for the position.
