POSITION SUMMARY
The Test Engineer will evaluate the functionality and implementation of the Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) software and hardware against relevant gaming standards and regulatory requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform a variety of tasks to identify software anomalies.

Work with the game development engineers on resolutions.

Liaise with external testing facilities and regulators regarding submissions and/or issues.

Develop and improve the processes, procedures and test scripts within the department.

Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Preferred college degree in a related field (math or computer science), and/or related work experience.

The candidate must be able to work 40 hours a week during normal work hours in an office. (8am to 5pm M-F)

Must be a responsible team player with the ability to work independently to perform a range of tasks efficiently.

Must possess a high level of personal and professional accountability.

Record, report and track defects through bug tracking software.

Ability to keep up to date on an abundant amount of information while also adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

May provide work direction and training with other team members.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
-
Testing in a prior gaming industry role and knowledge of gaming standards is desired.

Understanding of the regulatory and compliance issues in related global markets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Keen eye for details.

QA Certifications like ISTQB is a plus, but not required.

Working knowledge of C/C++/C#, Unity, and Jira is a big plus, but not required.

Excellent MS Office skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
This position requires registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and potential for other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
