Company in Constantine is seeking a skilled and responsible Boiler Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of boilers and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of boiler systems, be adept at troubleshooting and resolving issues, and prioritize safety and efficiency in daily operations.

This is a Direct Hire opportunity on 1st shift that offers a starting payrate of $29.74/hour and full benefits as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation:
- Safely and efficiently operate boilers, including related equipment such as pumps, fans, controls, and burners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure continuous and proper functioning.
- Maintenance:
- Conduct regular maintenance on boilers and pressure vessels to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of boiler mechanics and address any arising problems promptly.
- Troubleshooting:
- Utilize critical problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues in boiler operations.
- Minimize downtime by promptly addressing and fixing any equipment malfunctions.
- Safety:
- Prioritize safety by identifying potential hazards and adhering to safety protocols during equipment operation.
- Promote a safe working environment for the boiler room team and other personnel.
- Efficiency:
- Operate boilers in an efficient manner to conserve fuel and reduce emissions.
- Implement practices that contribute to optimal performance and resource conservation.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operating parameters and maintenance history.
- Utilize records for troubleshooting, identifying trends, and planning future maintenance.
- Communication:
- Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and others working in or around the boiler room.
- Foster clear communication to enhance awareness of potential hazards and facilitate accident prevention.
