Education/Experience:
- Preferred BA/BS degree in Human Services or
- related field with 1 year experience.
Knowledge and Understanding:
- Substance use disorder process.
- ASAM
- DSM 5
- Levels of Care
- Electronic Health Record system
- Excel
- Word
- Understanding of brief intervention, assessment, individual counseling, education groups, process groups, family therapy, relapse intervention, drug screening, aftercare planning, discharge, and documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review/Completion of admission documents and consent forms
- Document and complete assessments, assessment summary, progress
- reports, case correspondence, service logs, discharge summary and other required monitoring and reporting documentation as appropriate and on a timely basis.
- Conduct individual sessions.
- Establish, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
- Plans and goals are to indicate client self-determination and to be based on their strengths, needs, interests and cultural preferences.
- Facilitate or co-lead groups to increase understanding of the addiction, behavioral, emotional issues or to improve coping skills and performance of activities of daily living.
- Participates in clinical team meetings, training sessions and committee meetings as assigned.
- Completion of all required continuing education necessary to maintain state licensure.
- Attend individual and group supervision sessions as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
