JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Inventory Control Clerk I Shipper Receiver
Reports to: Manager of Supply Chain
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Issue material from the stockroom to production floor and requistioners.
- Deliver material to replenish kanban bins in production.
- Enter inventory, receiving and shipping transactions into ERP database.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Receive parts from suppliers.
- Move material to and from QC as required.
- Prepare TransMedics products for shipment.
- Enter shipments into FedEx & UPS manifest systems.
- Maintain individual work area I equipment in a neat orderly manner. This includes proper dis
posal ofwaste packaging material, proper storage and use of equipment and
parts, and management ofdocumentation needed to perform duties identified within
this job description.
- This position requires physical capabilities associated with packing and shipping pallets. Must
be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Perform other TransMedics task and duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years ‘experience working in a Stockroom/Warehouse, or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- Strong computer skills including a proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and
word processing.
- Experience working with MRP/ERP systems/databases.
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures with limited supervision.
- Must possess effective oral and written communications skills.
