Position: Medical Records Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the patient medical records system.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient data.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Respond to requests for medical records from physicians, staff, and external agencies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to verify record accuracy.
- Conduct periodic audits of medical records to ensure compliance with standards.
- Assist in the transition to electronic health records, if applicable.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in electronic medical record-keeping or a related field. Point-Click-Care (PCC) preferred.
- Registered Health Information Technicians (RHIT) or related experience in preliminary coding are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and computer skills.
- Ability to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential information.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of data accuracy and patient privacy.
