Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software AG Alfabet and ARIS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of the enterprise architecture management system of an agency under the Treasury Federal agency. The successful candidate will utilize Alfabet to ensure that our IT portfolio aligns with business strategies, enabling effective decision-making and streamlined IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture Design & Implementation
- - Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks using Software AG Alfabet & ARIS.
- - Ensure that IT strategies and architectures align with business goals and objectives.
- - Design architecture blueprints and roadmaps for IT projects and initiatives.
- Develop analytics/visualizations in Alfabet and business process flows in ARIS.
- Develop metamodel relationships, workflows .
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- - Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- - Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate architecture strategies and solutions.
- - Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of architecture impacts
System Optimization:
- - Continuously evaluate and improve existing Alfabet implementations for performance, scalability, and usability.
- - Integrate Alfabet with other enterprise systems and data sources to enhance functionality and data flow.
- - Ensure the architecture meets compliance and regulatory requirements.
Data Management:
- - Manage and maintain accurate architecture data within the Alfabet system.
- - Establish data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency.
- - Create and manage data models and metadata repositories.
Reporting & Analysis:
- - Develop and generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide insights into the IT portfolio.
- - Perform detailed analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- - Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to enterprise architecture.
Training & Support:
- - Provide training, guidance, and support to Alfabet users and stakeholders.
- - Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, best practices, and standards.
- - Support the adoption of Alfabet by promoting its benefits and capabilities.
Education:
- - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- - **Experience:**
- - Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management, or a related field.
- - Proven experience with Software AG Alfabet is essential.
- - Experience in integrating Alfabet with other enterprise systems and tools.
Skills

- - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- - Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF).
