Role Description:
- Receive incoming shipments of bio tech materials and supplies, ensuring accurate documentation and proper handling according to company protocols.
- Prepare outgoing shipments of bio tech products, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting periodic inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate shipping and receiving activities and address any issues or concerns.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while handling bio tech materials, chemicals, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in shipping and receiving roles, preferably in a biotech or pharmaceutical environment.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards governing the handling and transportation of bio tech materials (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and documenting shipments, inventory counts, and quality inspections.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in using shipping and inventory management software/systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling bio tech materials and chemicals.
Job Type: This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence, with flexibility available upon approval from the Head of Department Manager.Schedule: Day shift / Monday to FridayFLSA: Non-exemptPayscale: $20.00-$24.50 per hour (DOE)
