The successful Remote Dental Biller candidate will oversee the day-to-day billing and accounting of a few dental offices in our growing network. The Remote Dental Biller will ensure compliance with dental billing policies and procedures, and maintain accurate records. Other duties include bill pay, accounting, payroll, vendor management and assisting with day to day operations. Fully remote with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Leading Insurace and RCM, Revenue Cycle Management
- Ensuring compliance
- Managing day-to-day operations including bill pay, accounting, payroll, vendor management etc.
Technical Skills:
- Proper posting of insurance payments: This involves accurately recording and reconciling payments received from insurance companies for dental services provided to patients.
- Extensive knowledge of dental coding and posting laws and regulations: This requires a deep understanding of the coding and billing requirements for dental procedures, as well as the rules and regulations governing insurance payments and reimbursements.
- Required adjustments taken on insurance payments: This involves reviewing insurance payments and making necessary adjustments to patient accounts to ensure that payments are applied correctly, and any remaining balances are billed appropriately.
- Accurate notation of patient accounts: This involves keeping detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and billing information to ensure that patient accounts are up-to-date and accurate.
- Payor website utilization: This may involve using online tools provided by insurance companies to submit claims, check claim status, and verify patient eligibility and benefits.
- AR reports worked diligently and routinely: This involves reviewing and addressing any outstanding balances on patient accounts to ensure that all payments are collected in a timely manner.
- Denial appeals This includes reviewing any claim denials and working to resolve any issues that may be preventing payment from insurance companies. This requires responding to requests from insurance companies for additional information or documentation related to patient treatments and claims.
- Sending insurance claims: This involves submitting claims to insurance companies to reimburse dental services provided to patients.
- Ensuring timely filing of all claims: This involves submitting claims within the required time frame specified by insurance companies to ensure that reimbursement is received in a timely manner.
- Utilizing HIPAA guidelines at all times: This requires adhering to the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to ensure the privacy and security of patient health information.
- Overall, this job requires a strong understanding of dental billing and coding practices and the ability to work independently and efficiently to ensure that insurance payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 Years of Dental Billing Experience
- Dental Office Manager Experience a PLUS
