Training Coordinator
Under the leadership of the Training Director, the Training Coordinator will play a crucial role in the execution and management of our Substance Use Treatment and Recovery (SUTR) training programs, including the Workforce Enhancement in Response to the Opioid Crisis (WEROC) project. These positions involve coordinating the logistics and administration of training sessions for your region, supporting the development of training materials, and assisting in the evaluation of program outcomes.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under direction of the Training Directory, assist in the design and delivery of training programs on behavioral health and substance use disorders. Facilitate trainings on a regular basis throughout a designated region.
- Coordinate with National Council, educational institutions, healthcare providers, and community organizations to facilitate successful training events.
- Manage the logistics of training sessions, including schedules, materials, and participant communication.
- Support the Training Director in monitoring and evaluating the progress of training participants.
- Contribute to the continuous updating and refining of training materials and methods.
- Participate in the coordination of project meetings and the recruitment of interns and professionals for workforce development.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in behavioral health settings, with an understanding of substance use disorders preferred.
- Experience in adult education or training program delivery.
