Founded in 2008, Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services to individuals, foundations and family offices, as well as 401(k) consulting and cash management services to corporations. Your Future Team
Our team cultivates and manages relationships with some of the leading providers of products, tools, and services for financial advisors. We partner with internal and external colleagues to bring new products to our platform and contribute to ongoing improvements in what we can offer to our advisor businesses. You will focus on driving new growth opportunities for Hightower by supporting M&A opportunities and through existing advisor businesses. You will report to the Director of Product Management and guide communication between Hightower’s select 3rd parties, financial advisor community and work cross-divisionally in dedicated collaboration with Risk/Finance/IT/Operations.
What You’ll Do
- Be a subject matter expert and primary contact for financial advisors contacting the Product Management team, providing proactive and reactive product-related support.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking for consumer-facing and financial advisor/institution-facing wealth management technology solutions.
- Support PM staff in the management/oversight of 1) third-party access points for advisor solutions, incl., investments, and research, analytical/financial planning/market data tools, and 2) select advisor-facing products.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Advisors, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Finance.
- Support the PM team in efforts to create and improve business processes and functions, including M&A-related integrations.
- Maintain accurate, and complete PM administration tasks as determined by the business.
- Participate in cross-divisional business development initiatives.
- Complete regular data aggregation and trend analysis exercises for review of various PM-WS business areas and solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field from an accredited college or university.
- 1+ years’ experience in wealth management, investment management, and/or relationship management capacity.
- Experience working with financial advisors.
- General understanding of financial services space; financial products and/or wealth management industry tools experience.
- Ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with select 3rd parties and the financial advisor community.
- Strong drive, proactive mindset, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (excel skills a plus) and CRM tools (Salesforce CRM preferred).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Currently pursuing or holding industry designations and securities licenses a plus (Series 7/65, CFP, CAIA, CIMA, etc.).
- Must complete Series 7 and 63/65 within 9 months of hire.
