SUMMARY:
Coordinates activities and operations of Accountant for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure accurate and reliable financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS - International Financials Reporting Standards, various taxation compliance, and corporate policies, making ethical and sound decisions.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing deadlines, generate financial statements and prepare year-end financial statements with footnotes.
- Ensure timely monthly general ledger account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
- Ensure daily bank reconciliation.
- Set-up new item masters, bill of materials and price change updates
- Enter sales invoices and vendor invoices
- Manage daily cash balances, cash application, vendor payment processing, set up ACH/Wire payments
- Prepares and analyzes financial and operational reports; prepares reports required by regulatory agencies, banks, investors, and other external parties.
- Reviews and analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
- Fixed Asset and depreciation, annual verification
- Ensure journal entries and accruals are accurate and trued-up timely
- Ensure monthly inventory count reconciliations.
- Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and financial control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with state payroll, revenue, sales & use taxes, property taxes and other related taxes
- Analyzes, reviews, and audits overall general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable systems.
- Assures company management and operations conforms to organizational policies and procedures and government regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
- Ordering of factory material etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and with at least 4 – 6 years of experience.
- Solid understanding of IFRS a plus
- A good understanding of ERP systems, Sage 50(Peachtree) a plus.
- Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
