Responsibilities – Quick Lube Team Leader:
-
Maintain service CSI benchmarks.
- Train and demonstrate successful selling techniques. Monitor the effective labor sales rate on a continuous basis and achieve forecast customer labor sales.
- Provide for and facilitate the recruiting, selection, on-boarding and training of associates; planning/scheduling/assigning, monitoring and appraising job results and associate performance; and the coaching, counseling and disciplining of associates so as to develop and retain a qualified workforce.
- Maintain reporting systems required by General Manager and manufacturer.
- Assure proper repair order flow to satisfy warranty/dealership/business office requirements.
- Monitor staffing levels, compensation levels, and department turnover.
- Quality-check completed jobs and provide technical assistance to associates as needed.
- Conduct meetings with department associates to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest.
- Assist in developing standards of customer treatment and ensure their use; create processes for handling comebacks.
- Monitor Repair Order trends.
- Ensure that customer inconveniences, complaints and misunderstandings are dealt with fairly and quickly.
- Monitor dispatching to maximize efficiency of shop.
- Obtain and maintain control of the special tools necessary for the service of the vehicles.
- Ensure that all required technical publications, periodicals, bulletins, etc. are obtained, kept up-to-date and properly maintained.
- Work with parts department as appropriate to ensure proper stocking of high use parts.
Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements – Quick Lube Team Leader:

3-5 years of experience in an auto repair facility.
- Factory training credentials preferred.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate the Quick Lube Department at a profit according to dealership guidelines.
- Proficient knowledge of dealership computer system.
- Must have valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle.
