We are offering an opportunity for a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team. This company is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, and will require quarterly on-site meetings. The job function involves managing and drafting contracts for a small manufacturing company, operating within a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Draft contracts using provided templates, utilizing prior drafting experience
- Administer various types of contracts including cost reimbursable contracts, fixed price contracts, and amendments
- Manage the contract process using software such as Monday.com and DocuSign
- Ensure effective contract management by addressing and resolving any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other team members to work on budget-related tasks
- Monitor and manage contracts to ensure all are up to date and legally compliant
- Utilize skills in compliance and contract management to ensure smooth operations
- Regularly communicate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure contracts are understood and followed.
Skills Required:
- Experience in Compliance and Contract Management
- Proficiency in DocuSign and Redlining
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively within a team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with drafting and managing contracts.
- Proven experience in a Contracts Administrator role or similar capacity.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract management and compliance.
- Familiarity with DocuSign and its applications in contract administration.
- Experience in redlining and editing contracts for accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
