Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on assessment results
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to individuals with special needs, including children with autism
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as educators and therapists, to ensure coordinated care
- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home
Skills:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
