Join our team and make a difference in our community! Our team is responsible for the learning objectives of children and the creation and management of a variety of learning environments and activities that will provide opportunities for children to develop to their fullest potential. The Learning Jungle Valley Center site is licensed for currently up to 70 children, with operating Infant, Toddler, Preschool, PreK and School-Age programs.
Job Duties:

Ensure compliance with Title 22 and Title 5 regulations for early childhood education center and health and safety standards.

Implement and ensure quality and compliance of Quality Preschool Initiative and State Funded Preschool Education requirements.

Utilize DRDP 2015 tool and DRDP technology to support teaching staff with the different educational assessment tools.
-
Support and maintain Tier 5 ECERS (Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale) classrooms at all times..

Appropriately monitor and follow center budget, and practice expense control and cost reduction strategies.

Coordinate recruitment efforts and maintain a positive candidate experience.

Collaborate with sales to meet monthly enrollment targets.

Handle administrative tasks like childcare licensing regulations documentation, subsidy attendance records and staff scheduling.

Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
-
Foster good relationships among staff and assist in problem-solving.

Plan and organize training opportunities for staff and parents.
-
Oversee nutritional program compliance and ensure health and safety standards.

Coordinate and regularly communicate with Childcare Licensing and public health authorities.

Organize community events to promote the center.

Welcome parents, conduct tours, and handle enrollment procedures.

Maintain regular communication with parents.

Partner and communicate with Regional Director for center management alignment and DRDP Program Director for workshops and trainings.

Perform other duties as needed.
We want energetic, kind, dependable, and passionate individuals who have:

Bachelor’s in related field and must also have California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit
-
3 of the 15 core ECE units must be in Infant /Toddler Development
-
3+ years of Director or Assistant Director experience in a licensed childcare facility
-
Licensing Record Keeping Orientation
-
CPR and First Aid certification
-
California fingerprint clearance
-
Health Examination including TB test
