About the Position
Water Valley Management is seeking a key contributor in leasing operations for the WVM multifamily portfolio under management. This candidate will work closely with a Property Manager to coordinate open house events, digital and web-based content, and personalized apartment showings. In addition to apartment showings, daily tasks will include prospect communications, marketing initiatives and general administrative assistance.
Apartment Showings & Open Houses
1. Schedule and Organize Open House events for new construction project lease-up
a. Prepare all marketing collateral
b. Promote events on social media outlets
c. Inform interested prospects of event dates and times
2. Schedule and perform apartment showings with interested prospects at multiple locations
3. Provide and explain marketing collateral, apartment and community features and provide availability updates
4. Guide prospects through electronic application process
Marketing Initiatives:
1. Edit and update marketing campaign for all communities
a. Marketing flyers, hand-outs, direct mail post cards, etc.
b. Folders, keychains, marketing collateral specific to property
2. Promote social media presence
a. Create content and posts for social media outlets
3. Maintain and enhance website information, photos and content
4. Design/arrange yard signage for properties
5. Research competing properties to gather information on competitive rental rates, amenities offered, leasing specials, etc.
6. Arrange photo updates and uploads to websites and third party marketing sources
7. Maintain lead-tracking protocol to evaluate effectiveness of marketing sources and conversion performance
8. Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks for WVM team members
Administrative Duties:
1. Maintain and audit required insurance documentation
2. Reconcile confidential tenant information and tenant ledgers
3. Print weekly and quarterly reports for record keeping
4. Assist Controller with general clerical duties
WVM Team Responsibilities & Requirements:
1. Strong interpersonal skills necessary
2. Prior work in sales, leasing or customer service preferred
3. Scheduling and organizational skills
4. Computer skills including property management software and Microsoft Office products
5. Detail orientation
6. Digital marketing abilities with creative instincts
7. Professionalism in appearance, performance and communication
8. Valid Driver’s License, vehicle and current vehicle insurance
Typical Work Schedule:
1. Part-time position
a. Opportunity for full-time position in future
2. Flexible schedule
a. Requires some weekend Open House events
b. May include afternoon and evening showings, depending on need
Compensation Benefits:
1. Hourly wages to be determined based on experience and performance
2. Bonus options available for strong leasing performance

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
