Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Risk and Controls Analyst to join the Information Security team.
The team maintains and enhances the Company's global information security, risk, and control programs.
Day to day you will evaluate internal and external risk- and control-related initiatives and their inherent impacts on the Company's risk posture.
You will work closely with global IT and legal teams to ensure that the data in our environment remains protected.
As a Risk and Controls Analyst, you will partner cross-functionally with global business and procurement teams to assist with the risk management of third-party vendors and their inherent impacts.
Job Responsibilities
Continue to expand, maintain, and manage the Third-Party Risk Management ( "TPRM”) program.
Work with global IT and legal teams to manage the implementation of controls aligned with internal standards and frameworks.
Implement security improvements by assessing current situations, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
Risk and Controls Analyst serves as a point of contact to address control questions and assess control impacts for vendors.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of work experience, or the equivalent understanding of, TPRMs, governance, risks and controls, and/or a related field is required.
Experience working with different business and vendor contracts across a variety of third-party services to understand the associated inherent and residual risks.
Experience with general computer controls and security topics is strongly preferred.
Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining access and security policies, processes, procedures, and standards preferred.
Knowledge of access and security and control risk assessment methods and technologies and/or audit experience preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed-upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
Approximately 10% of travel may be required to support the position's responsibilities.
