CCSC seeks a solutions-oriented individual that can thrive in an environment where working collaboratively with several different teams in addition to directly supporting students and families is commonplace in a typical workday. This is a 12-month position with paid time off during all school-year vacations as well as 1 week of additional vacation in the summer (over 5 total weeks of vacation annually). In addition, the Front Desk Coordinator will be required to fulfill other regular duties and commitments required of CCSC staff.Job Responsibilities: The Front Desk Coordinators responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Attendance Monitoring: Monitor student attendance and ensure safety by means of daily attendance checks and surveillance of internal cameras, elevating concerns as necessaryRun frequent attendance checks, communicating concerns and patterns to administrators and counselingUpdate attendance for tardy students, and students who are dismissed early, recording details in student records and other relevant databasesSpeak to families with attendance questions and concerns, recording conversations in Powerschool, as necessaryTrack and report instances of staff not meeting attendance expectationsMonitor internal surveillance cameras, elevate concerns as necessary to the Principals OfficeClerical Work: Complete various clerical tasks throughout the school year and summer as assigned by supervisors and school leadershipManage incoming and outgoing paperwork, which includes, but is not limited to, field trip forms, payments, surveys and a variety of school mailingsCollect and track various payments and forms, working closely with staff to understand requirements and systems for trackingUpdate student demographics in Powerschool in compliance with school policy Handle schools mailing needsTrack outstanding student suppliesRecord family survey dataIn collaboration with the Summer Academy Principal and Summer Learning Principal, support the smooth operation of Summer Academy and Summer Learning by independently performing all tasks regularly attended to during the school year regarding student attendance and safety, parent/guardian communication, meals, and enrollmentAssist with summer inquiries including the distribution work permits, T cards and summer reading booksReception: Foster a warm and safe environment by greeting all students, parents/guardians and visitors professionallyChecking all visitors in on the log, informing appropriate school personnel, verifying all students are dismissed to appropriate parents/guardiansAnswer a multi line telephone, transferring calls to relevant personnel, taking messages as necessaryField enrollment inquiries according to school and state policiesOperate door systemsSet up breakfast for students
