Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with expertise in personal injury or Labor and Employment law to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling subpoenas, consents, and medical authorization collection, as well as obtaining records such as school records. Additionally, proficiency in assisting with fact development is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the process of issuing subpoenas, obtaining consents, and collecting medical authorizations efficiently and accurately.
- Obtain various records relevant to cases, including but not limited to school records, medical records, and employment records.
- Assist in fact development by conducting thorough research and gathering relevant information to support case preparation.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to ensure all necessary documentation and information are obtained in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury or Labor and Employment law.
- Demonstrated proficiency in handling subpoenas, consents, and medical authorization collection.
- Strong knowledge of obtaining various records required for legal proceedings.
- Experience in conducting legal research and assisting in fact development.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
