Responsible for setting up, monitoring and filling operations. The Filler Operator will ensure that the product conforms to quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Follow safety and all cGMP guidelines
· Verify each bulk tote before opening
· Perform basic operating inspection/setup of the line equipment
· Using hoist, move material into feed system
· Ensure adequate quantity of components is available for the production run
· Fill units with material
· Ensure units are of correct weight
OTHER JOB DUTIES
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned by the Production Supervisor or other member of management
PREFERRED EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- One to two years previous manufacturing experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Able to take direction from supervisor
- Detail oriented
- Work in fast paced environment
- Able to work well independently and with others
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to multi-task, respond to rapid change; organize, prioritize, and perform work with minimal supervision
