Responsibilities
- Perform repairs as directed
- Attend training, shop meetings, continue education provided by the manufacturers to improve competence level
- Understand and follow Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Road test vehicles to quality check work performed
- Keep shop area neat and clean and able to account for all dealership owned tools
- Document all work performed
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or maintenance work is required
- Diagnose the cause of malfunction
- Maintain CSI level established by manufacturer and dealership standards
- Complete Subaru training
Qualifications
- Must possess some mechanical experience as a Lube Technician or Apprentice Technician
- Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to learn
- Able to take directions and then follow them
- A desire to learn and deliver customer satisfaction every time
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to attend all service training and meetings
Hours
- Monday - Friday 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM
- Every 3rd Saturday: 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM
